Liberty Academy Charter School prides itself in cutting edge technology to improve students’ educational experience.

Each classroom has an interactive SMARTBoard. Combining the simplicity of a whiteboard with the power of a computer, the SMARTBoard allows you to deliver dynamic lessons, write notes in digital ink, and save your work - all with the simple touch of a finger.

The building has two portable laptop carts that are available for use in all classrooms. Students have internet access throughout the entire building using a state of art Cisco Wireless Solution. Websites are filtered and do not allow students to access inappropriate sites such as Sexual or explicit content, chat rooms, free web based email, etc.

Our technology goal is to expand computer stations into the classroom until our ratio of student/computers reach 1:3. Currently each classroom has at least three computers for student use.

For the upcoming 2011-2012 academic year, 10 Ipads were purchased for Special Education classes.  Instructional applications have been purchased to enhance student  learning as well as innovation.
